South Carolina Center for Community Literacy
The iSchool’s co-partner in the UofSC Library of Congress grant program is the South Carolina Center for Community Literacy (SCCCL), the state's Library of Congress designated book examination and preview center. The certified librarians at SCCCL provide a range of outreach activities that address literacy issues in our communities and schools.
State Library of South Carolina
The State Library of South Carolina is the primary administrator of federal and state support for the state's libraries. It is committed to public library development, library service for state institutions, service for the blind and physically handicapped, and library service to state government agencies. The UofSC iSchool and SCCCL have a long-standing relationship with the State Library, including collaborative training sessions, co-hosting library events, etc.
South Carolina Association of School Librarians
The South Carolina Association of School Librarians (SCASL) has a long history of supporting school librarians in South Carolina. The Association is nationally recognized for its initiatives to provide quality professional development and resources for its members.
University of Central Florida TPS Program
The UCF TPS program is a TPS Consortium partner. Through ongoing, year-round professional development events, the TPS program at the University of Central Florida helps educators unleash the power of primary sources in the classroom.
Waynesburg University TPS Project
The Teaching with Primary Sources program at Waynesburg University offers professional development for teachers in the Eastern region. Waynesburg has committed to provide PDPI (Professional Development Provider’s Institute) training to the four project staff members on the 2021 – 2022 UofSC TPS grant.
